North West Advertising Group is a marketing and communication Network Company, and we currently recruiting for the position below in our Lagos office:


Job Title: Editorial Assistant

Location: Lagos 

Duties 
Supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to publication, including acting as a personal assistant to commissioning editors and overseeing tasks such as issuing contracts and dealing with royalties: 
Liaising with other in-house teams, writers, photographers, printers, designers and production staff to negotiate and monitor timescales for stages in the publishing process
Using computers for word processing, desktop publishing and email
Dealing with phone and email queries, e.g. From writers and the public
Filing, photocopying and other routine administrative tasks.
Dealing with the administration of work commissioned to freelance writers, picture researchers, photographers, stylists and illustrators
Organizing and researching projects to tight deadlines
Summarizing written material and correcting manuscripts
Obtaining rights to use materials from other publications

Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a related field
Basic understanding of printing process, photography, illustration, typography, editing, transfer and shooting of commercials preferred.
One to two years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Remunerations  N90,000 - 100,000


Job Title: Graphics Designer


Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities 
Designs and produces art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media, such as books, magazines, newspapers, television, electronic media and packaging.
Presents new ideas to members of the team.
Monitors projects through all phases of production.
Develops designs that are on strategy and reflect brand's personality.
Designs media in a wide variety of styles that correspond to the client's needs.
Interacts with art directors.
Adheres to client budget and time constraints.

Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent
At least one to two years of work experience in the graphics design field is required.
Understanding of printing process, photography, illustration and typography preferred


Remunerations  N80,000 - N90,000
